5 Viral Beauty Trends I Tried in 2026

In 2026, viral beauty trends and viral skincare trends seem to be everywhere. So, every now and then I opened my Pinterest or Instagram and there were videos of people mixing skincare products, acids and creams. With so many 2026 beauty trends and viral skincare trends appearing on my feed, I only watched and scrolled past, thinking that only influencers experiment with their skin. Honestly, I was too afraid to even try any of these. But since I started my consistent, well-timed skincare routine and experienced the benefits of some trending beauty products, I decided to try a few viral skincare products one by one. The truth is, I didn’t try each and every one of them—only what I needed and thought was best for my skin.

1. Salmon DNA (PDRN) Skincare

This product has outshined every other product in skin care industry. SALMON DNA or PDRN stands for polydeoxyribonucleotides yeah it’s heavy, celebrities inject it inside their skin but it can be applied topically too so when first I researched for the best product it was REJURAN which was quite expensive then I went for a budget friendly alternative MEDICUBE PINK PEPTIDE SERUM with SALMON DNA the viral pink glow serum. So I started using it last month and included it in my morning skin routine to be fair the first impression was really good the pink serum was non-greasy lightweight my skin felt plumped and hydrated by the first day but that wasn’t enough so I started using it consistently throughout the month and by the seventh day I noticed this medicube serum is doing a great job my skin texture felt so smooth and my makeup looked much better so, I’ll give it a 9/10 definitely a must tries.

2. The Viral Body-Glow Combo

This particular combo caught my eye on Pinterest DOVE BODY EXFOLIATING POLISH and THE ORDINARY PEELING SOLUTION. I added this combo to my night time routine and the first time I tried it without doing any research only based on some videos and posts I saw on social media. The first time I didn’t feel anything odd but the second time in a week I felt a little irritation so I stopped using it and researched what actually I was using and the results shocked me. dove body exfoliating polish is a physical exfoliator and the ordinary peeling is a combination (AHA 30% BHA 2%) of strong chemical exfoliator, using them together as a triple exfoliator can cause severe damage to skin barrier leading to irritation, redness and inflammation I guess I was lucky to notice it sooner and stopped using it together I would never recommend this combo to anyone only if used separately on alternate days of the week for me this viral skincare trend is a big NO.

3. Azelaic Acid + Hypochlorous Acid

If you have acne and haven’t tried azelaic acid yet, then you’re definitely missing something you wish you’ve known earlier. This is another trend that I tried but obviously I researched this time and yeah I got positive results from everywhere so I went for it. so, here’s what happened my hormonal acne got triggered and this time I wanted to give this combo a try so I added it to my night time routine because the products got all night to settle on my skin and give me better results. layering skin care products is a very important step. After cleansing my face, I sprayed the tower 28 hypochlorous acid spray after 10 or 15 seconds the mist dried up then I applied anua azelaic 10 serum by the 3rd day I started seeing results my breakouts were cleared up and no signs of new acne leaving a clean and fresh effect to my face. This is an absolutely safe combination you can use it together and works effectively.

4. Glycolic Acid and NIVEA Cream

NIVEA CREAM is something my mom always had in her vanity it was her primer, her eye cream, her moisturizer I wasn’t a stranger to nivea cream but GLYCOLIC ACID was something new to me when I came across this trend I was definitely going to give it a try because I was noticing a dark ring on the back of my neck so I started using this duo at my morning skin care routine at first I started slowly because glycolic acid was new to my skin. 2 times a week was my starting point and honestly this product is so underrated. I applied the ordinary glycolic acid 7% let it dry and then a thin layer of nivea cream by the 2nd week I noticed dark ring on my neck fading and not only that I applied this combo to my heels and my rough heels were smooth and softened and I give it a 10/10 definitely recommended.

5. Biodance Bio-Collagen Sheet Mask

Viral sheet masks are all over and easy to use so everyone’s using them but this particular sheet mask is breaking the internet because the mask contains a full bottle of hydrogel serum and their product claims to deeply hydrate the skin barrier so, here’s how I used it. The biggest mistake you can do is applying it on dry skin so, I used it after cleanser , serum and moisturizer and then applied it to my face it was slithery and slippery I put it on my face after an hour it was starting to turn transparent you don’t need to put it overnight 3 hours is enough and honestly I didn’t have the patience to put something that long on my face anyways after three hours I started taking it off and to be fair my skin felt so plumped and hydrated my pores minimized I was loving my skin you can dissolve the mask and reuse the mask as a body essence but one more thing the result is for one day so it’s best for a party night before makeup skin prep I give this product 8/10.
